Privacy notice

We do not track you, and here is exactly what that means

This is a plain HTML site with no accounts, no comments and no advertising. There is very little to say about privacy here, and this page says all of it.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. Not for preferences, not for sessions, not for measurement. You will not see a cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Analytics and tracking

We run no analytics of any kind. There is no Google Analytics, no pixel, no tag manager, no heatmap tool and no advertising or conversion tracking on any page. We do not know how many people read a given guide, and we have decided we can live with that.

Third-party content

Every page loads only files served from quickplaynotes.com: the HTML, one stylesheet and one small SVG icon. There are no external scripts, no embedded videos or iframes, no social widgets and no web fonts fetched from another domain — the site uses the typefaces already installed on your device. As a result, loading a page here does not tell any third party that you visited.

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs, as essentially all hosting does. A log line records the requested page, the time, the IP address that made the request, the browser's user-agent string and the referring page if one was sent. These logs exist so the host can diagnose faults and block abuse. We do not analyse them for behavioural purposes, do not combine them with anything else, do not sell or share them, and they are rotated and deleted on the provider's normal cycle, which is thirty days.

If you email us

Messages sent to our contact address arrive in an ordinary mailbox and stay there until we clear them, which we do at least once a year. We use what you send only to reply to you or to correct a page. We never add correspondents to a mailing list — we do not operate one — and we do not pass addresses to anyone else.

The contact form

The form on the contact page is a plain mailto form. It has no back end and no JavaScript behind it. Pressing the button hands the text to your own email application; nothing is submitted to this website, and nothing typed into those boxes is stored here at any point.

Children

The site is a general-audience reference about casual games. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect information at all.

Changes to this notice

If we ever add something that changes any of the above — which we have no plans to do — we will rewrite this page and change the date at the top before that change goes live.
