1. What this site is

Quick Play Notes publishes written how-to-play guides for casual mobile and arcade games. It is an informational reference. We do not host, distribute, sell, license or operate any game, and we provide no download links or installers.

2. What the numbers in our guides mean

Our pages describe games as entertainment software. Where a guide mentions a counter, a meter, a percentage or a score readout, it is describing something drawn on the game's own screen. Those figures exist inside the software, they are reset by the software, and they carry no meaning of any kind once the app is closed. We describe them only because you cannot follow a set of instructions without knowing what the display is telling you.

3. No affiliation

Quick Play Notes is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to any game developer, publisher or platform. Whoever owns a game owns its name and branding; we claim nothing over either. A title appears in our writing for one reason only, which is to say which game a page explains.

4. Accuracy

Guides describe the games as we found them at the time of writing, on the builds and devices we had. Games are updated frequently and behaviour varies between versions, regions and platforms. We make no guarantee that a step still matches what is on your screen. If you spot a difference, please tell us through the contact page so we can correct it.

5. Your use of the content

You may read, print and share our pages for personal, non-commercial use, and you are welcome to link to any page. You may not republish substantial portions of our text elsewhere, present it as your own work, or use it to train or populate a commercial content product without our written permission. Short quotations with a clear attribution and a link are fine.

6. Availability

The site is provided as it is, with no promise that it will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may add, change, correct or remove pages at any time without notice.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, anything published here. Nothing on this site is professional advice of any kind.

8. External references

Where a page mentions a game or a platform by name, that is a description, not a recommendation, and it is not an endorsement of anything a third party does. We are not responsible for the content, terms or practices of any other website or service.

9. Changes to these terms

This page can be revised. The date at the top is always the date of the version you are reading, and whatever is published here at the moment you visit is what applies to that visit.
